The Team
The people who make this work possible — each one exceptional, and together, something even better.
My greatest strength is shaping great teachers. After 20+ years of learning from the finest teachers in the field — including classical training with Bob Liekens and Power Pilates — I've built a practice rooted in precision, curiosity, and deep respect for the method.
I founded KIM V PILATES at Union Square and co-founded Hell's Kitchen Pilates to create spaces where both students and instructors could grow. As a Senior Trainer on the MELT® Method Teacher Training Team, the work I do with teachers is the work I'm most proud of.

Coffee junkie. Cat lady. Star Wars aficionado. My personality lands somewhere between Sansa Stark and Emily Dickinson — and somehow that combination has made me a remarkably effective teacher.
By day I am the CEO of a non-profit serving special needs youth. By life I am a Pilates and MELT practitioner and teacher of teachers. My mission is spreading the gospel of flexible strength, and the firm belief that kindness ought never to be mistaken for weakness.

I love Pilates — and I've been teaching it since completing my comprehensive classical training in 2012. Bodies, movement, what they're capable of — it has always been at the center of everything I do. After 10+ years as a teaching artist in NYC public schools, I followed that fascination all the way to my Pilates certification.
From 2012 to 2018 I was an instructor and faculty member at Core Pilates NYC. My own experience of a consistent Pilates practice through two pregnancies is what ignited my passion for working with this population — and for teaching teachers how to do it well. When I'm not in the studio, I'm running around Brooklyn with my two boys: eating pizza, watching them skateboard (not me), and logging countless hours at the playground. Solo dinners, documentaries about anything, people watching, and a good twirl on the dancefloor round out the rest.
