Education
I've spent over 20 years gathering knowledge from the finest teachers in the field — and I'm here to pass every bit of it on to you.
My greatest strength is
shaping great teachers
Whether you're dreaming of becoming a Pilates instructor, looking to deepen your existing skills, or simply wanting to understand the body more fully — I've created programs for every stage of that journey.
My education programs draw from everything I've gathered over two decades: classical training, hands-on anatomy study, the MELT Method, and the real-world experience of building and running a thriving studio. I want to give you not just the knowledge, but the confidence to use it.
I can't wait to meet you and help you find your own unique teaching voice.
My Pilates Teacher Training Program
Everything I know — yours to build on
Classical Pilates · MELT Method · Anatomy · Teaching ArtistryThis program is a curation of everything I've been fortunate enough to learn from the extraordinary teachers, mentors, and experts who have shaped my practice over 20+ years. I'm passing it on in my own style, with my own voice, and with deep gratitude for everyone who taught me along the way.
The curriculum follows NPCP guidelines. Through weekend intensives, workshops, teaching practice, observation, and self-practice, you'll accumulate a minimum of 450 hours — a thorough, credible foundation that meets the highest professional standards.
Because I serve on the Teacher Training Team of the MELT Method, students in this program have a direct line to mastering the Hand and Foot treatment — including an in-depth study of connective tissue science you won't find in a traditional Pilates training.

"I love the teacher training with Kim V Pilates and would recommend it to anyone. She got us teaching from the very first day — and that was the biggest scary moment to overcome. Kim provided good feedback, shared good tips and cues, demonstrated, and explained everything very clearly. I feel confident coming out of this training program that I have a good foundation, the necessary knowledge, and the skills to continue my Pilates teaching and advance my own practice. Thank you, Kim!"— Graduate, Kim V Pilates Teacher Training

Come learn something new with me
Two workshops. One incredible Sunday.
The jumpboard takes your Reformer work to a whole new level by weaving in a genuine cardio element — your heart rate climbs, your legs and core fire up, and the session feels alive in a way that surprises most people the first time they try it. I'll walk you through my complete Jumpboard Glossary, the formula for structuring a class from warm-up to ending, Level I and II progressions, and how to keep clients safe with any limitation.
I hear this from instructors all the time: "I know the exercises, but I don't know how to put them together." That's exactly what this workshop is for. We'll work through real class structures live on the equipment — you'll leave with programming templates you can use right away, whether you're newly certified or an experienced teacher looking to bring more creativity to your classes.
There is nothing quite like holding a bone in your hands or sculpting a muscle from clay to make anatomy click in a way it never has before. Under the guidance of Dr. Sarah Ruback, you'll sculpt your own anatomically correct skeletal model — the spine, pelvic floor, hip groups, rotator cuff, and more — in an intimate group of just 12. No sculpting experience required.
Next Workshop: Coming SoonCPR certification is non-negotiable for anyone who teaches movement. Dr. Sarah Ruback leads this engaging course covering adult and child CPR and AED use — no medical background needed. Certificate valid for 2 years and required for most Pilates certification programs.
